Young Mathematicians Apply Learning to Projects

Both Math K and Math 1 classes have been having an exciting Term full of applied learning projects thus far!

Through their Tangram project, Math K students worked on analyzing, comparing, creating, and composing shapes while building their skills in logic, problem solving, perceptual reasoning, visual-spatial awareness, and creativity.

Through theirdata visualizationprojects, Math 1 students learned to collect, interpret, organize, and graph data as well as createsurveysto collect data. After creating visualizations, they worked together to analyze their data!
