After School Program
Extended Day and Inquiry Lab
Khan Lab School offers two distinct after-school program options until 6:00 p.m. Extended Day is a free schoolwide program that includes
independent time to study as well as student-led clubs. Inquiry Lab is a collection of fee-based enrichment classes.

Lower School
Extended Day
The Lower School Extended Day program runs offers after care until 6 p.m. Extended Day supervision is included in tuition. Students have an opportunity
to participate in clubs and organized outdoor activities.
Inquiry Lab
Inquiry Lab enrichment classes provide students with an opportunity to explore a range of interests and passions with classes run by KLS faculty and outside
organizations. Class offerings vary by term. Past Inquiry Lab classes have included art, dance, performing arts, world languages, and more. Inquiry Lab enrichment classes are
fee-based.
Middle and Upper School
Extended Day
After classes end, many Middle and Upper school students remain on campus for athletics, robotics, or to study until 6 p.m. Many of the programming is student-led. On-site
supervision is provided.
Inquiry Lab
Occassionally, Inquiry Lab programming is offered for middle and upper school students in subjects such as computer programming.
