We are pleased to welcome our new Remote Learning Specialist, Vincent Spevack!

Based in New York State,Vincent will be assisting Lower and Upper School students to develop strategies for academic success, whether they are learning from campus or from home.He will support students with academics and executive skill development, and will also work with faculty to support instruction for all students and to design student-centered learning approaches.Vincent will work with students individually and/or in small group settings.He will be the primary point of contact with families, outside specialists working with our students, and other KLS team members, as needed, to discuss the academic concerns of students who are utilizing Learning Specialist services.

In addition to working with individual students, Vincent will be working with students in small groups to develop academic strategies.


Vincent graduated from Sacred Heart University (CT) with B.A. in Economics. After this, he received M.S. in Special Education from Pace University (NY). He is currently in his first year of pursuing a PhD in Special Education at Texas Tech University. Vincent taught for 4 years in the New York City public school system as a High School Teacher. During his time there, he developed a community and work-based learning program to enhance academic, vocational, life, and social skills for his students. Most recently, before joining KLS, he served as a Student Support Services Coordinator at a private K-12 school where he implemented and taught Executive Skills classes and a Response to Intervention (RTI) program. Outside of being dedicated and passionate about education and student achievement, Vincent enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and riding his bike.
