KLS Students Take on Summer Reading Challenge

Our Middle School (MS) students have issued a reading challenge to our High School (HS) students this summer!From Monday, June 21, toWednesday, July 21, our two student teams are competingto see who can read the most and the most broadly. Our faculty couldn't resist joining the reading challenge, forming their own unofficial KLS Faculty-Staff team.

At the tenth day of our month-long challenge, we rounded up the results in progress. Here is the leaderboard in categories that have earned significant points:

Most Books: First place for this category is currently held by MS with 27 logged books, then HS with 21 logged books, andthe unofficial KLS Faculty-Staff team with 17 books logged.

Most Pages: First place in this category is currently held by HS by far with10,128 pages read, then MS with7,550 pages, andunofficial KLS Faculty-Staff team with 3,299 pages logged.

Most Diverse Authors: First place for this category is held by the KLS Faculty-Staff team, withMS in second place, and HS inthird place.

Widest Genre Variety: First place for this category is held by the KLS Faculty-Staff team, with MS very close behind in second place, and HS in third place.
