The EIJ Team is excited to announce that KLS was accepted onThursday, October 1, as a school that is able to have student delegates attend NAIS's Online Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC)from December 1 to 4, 2020. Learn more about the conference here.

The conference, to be held December1 - 4, isa multiracial, multicultural gathering of high school student leaders from across the U.S. and abroad. SDLC focuses on self-reflecting, forming allies, and building community. Led by a diverse team of trained adult and peer facilitators, participating students develop cross-cultural communication skills, design effective strategies for social justice practice through dialogue and the arts, and learn the foundations of allyship and networking principles. In addition to large group sessions, SDLC "family groups" and "home groups" allow for dialogue and sharing in smaller units.

We are reaching out to identify up to six student delegates interested in attending the Online Student Diversity Leadership Conference. We would like to have both IL6 and IL7 represented.Priority for student delegates will be given to EIJ Student Committee members and our seniors.

Students: If you would like to participate in the conference, please complete this form by Saturday, October 10. If you have any questions, please send an email to the EIJ Team at eijteam@khanlabschool.org.

We will notify students that expressed interest with the candidate selection outcome on Monday, October 12.
