Showstoppers is back!

Get ready for the Showstoppers experience.This Extended Dayclub will be open to ALL ILs and culminate in a whole-school performance! If you have a desire to sing, dance, oract, this club is for you. We also need students behind the scenes to help manage backdrops, tech, and music. Every student who comes to audition will be a part of the show in some form. We are looking to fill our lead vocalist and dancer roles,as well as our backstage manager roles.

Showstoppers rehearsals will be twice a week onTuesdays and Wednesdaysfrom4:10 - 5:00 p.m.from January - June (end of Term 3). You can register onAmiliastarting at the beginning of December when Extended Day registration opens.

We will be holding auditions for the club onMonday, December 16andTuesday, December 17from4:10 - 5:30 p.m. in theUpper School space. See below for more information if you or your student is interested in participating:

Singer and Dancer Auditions

If you are a singer we will need you to prepare a 30-second song of your choice that you will sing acapella (meaning without background music). We will also see your dance ability from a previous routine Coach Devin has taught you. If you are new to KLS this year, please prepare to perform a short routine in a dance style of your choice.

Behind the Scenes Auditions

We ask that you come prepared with knowledge of the field that you would like to assist with. If you don't have any experience, come talk to us about research that you have done based on the position. Behind the scenes roles includestage management, lights, costumes, backdrops, tech, and music.
