Family Community Service Supports South Palo Alto Food Closet

KLS families and students collaborated todonate 25 pounds of freshly-picked cherries to the South Palo Alto Food Closet!

On Saturday, May 29,our community gathered for ourlast Family Community Service activity of the Term! Wewent cherry picking at an orchard in Morgan Hill, the U Pick Cherry Orchard, to donate fruit to the South Palo Alto Food Closet.This food bank provides groceries to residents in need in the Palo Alto area, who are even more affected during the pandemic.

Our KLS families had fun, worked hard, and really demonstrated their generosity in helping to feed those in need. Great job, KLS families!
