Support Khan Lab School

Philanthropy drives innovation, campus growth, and enriched student experiences. More than dollars, it reflects our shared commitment to education and to one another.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we closed out last year’s Annual Fund campaign on a high note, surpassing our $500,000 goal and raising over $591,000 to support our building enhancements. Thank you!

This year, we are setting our sights on another $500,000 goal to fund two exciting priorities:

KLS-owned vans for field trips, events, intercampus travel, and experiential learning

A new Lower School play structure to support joyful, active play

Giving at KLS: The KLS Fund

The KLS Fund provides essential resources that allow us to sustain the hallmarks of a Khan Lab School education—small class sizes, robust academic programming, and exceptional faculty. Each year, we invite families to support one or more of the following priorities:

  • Immediate Priorities — Unrestricted gifts support the greatest needs of KLS.
  • Financial Assistance — Help KLS remain accessible to a diverse range of learners through tuition assistance.
  • Academic Excellence — Invest in world-class educators, mastery-based learning, and student-led curriculum. Your gift sustains:
    • Low student–teacher ratios
    • Interdisciplinary and experiential programs
    • Innovation Hub operations
    • FIRST Robotics Competition Team 6962 (Antares)

How much should I give?

We invite every family to give in a way that is meaningful and personally significant. Every contribution—regardless of size—demonstrates shared commitment and strengthens our community. Participation matters just as much as the amount.

Many families choose to give at a level similar to other educational or charitable causes they support; some give in recognition of what they might contribute toward enrichment, transportation, or extracurricular activities in other school settings.

When should I give?

The KLS Fund runs annually from August 1 to July 31. We encourage families to give early in the school year to support planning and implementation of programs throughout the year.
