Halloween Fall Fest on Thursday, Oct 31 during Extended Day

Friday, October 25, 2019

It’s that time of year again… mark your calendars for the annual school-wide Halloween Fall Fest, taking place on Thursday, October 31st from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Families are welcome to come and enjoy sweet and savory treats along with a fall-themed photo station. The event will kick off with an all-school costume parade, culminating in a costume contest judged by the amazing Coach D and Saloni!

There will be no Extended Day activities happening on Halloween. However, students can stay at school until 6:00 p.m. as usual and will be under E.D. team supervision.

Halloween Costume Update & Reminder

Due to our growing school size and small bathroom space, there will not be time allotted at the end of the school day on Halloween for students to change into costumes. We encourage students to come to school in costume if they’d like to dress up.

The same guidelines apply to costumes this year as in previous years:

Costumes should not disrupt learning i.e. students should be able to sit down in costume and remain focused. All costumes must be "G-rated" or appropriate for a mixed aged school environment (if your child does not feel comfortable explaining their costume to a five-year-old, then it is probably not the right costume to wear to KLS). Please remember to leave weapons and other costume props that violate school rules at home.
